It's a brand new month, yipeeee! The month of my son's birthday, he'll be turning 7 on the 18th, that means cake, lots of juice and junk food. I hope to make it very special.
I have never forgotten my Seventh birthday, it's the most special I ever had.
Those days, birthdays weren't really a big deal so it was even rare to hear of someone holding a party especially in the village where I grew up.
My 7th birthday was special because mi papa brought me the most beautiful card I have ever seen and he sang me Boney M's "Brown girl ..............she looks like sugar in a plum", my favourite song then.
